I ran by myself again. Having self motivation is the hardest part at this point. I keep making up excuses not to go but i fight them every morning. Hopefully it will get better as time goes on.. But so far i'm not doing too bad.

One thing that helps me when I don't have a group relying on me (although you actually do... we are counting on you BIG TIME!) is that I already have the decision made in my mind.

"Am I going to get up and run this morning?... ABSOLUTELY!" There is NO question.

I felt really good today. I was going to run three but when i got to the three mile point i felt really good so i decided to go another mile. I felt really good about my workout today :)

Holt: Ya that's part of the deal i have to stay on the campus to run. I can go down to the baseball fields and by the football stadium and then that's where it cuts off.

My breathing has been doing better. Still a little on the sketchy side. I've been watching closly and seeing what things make my breathing go weird. But ya i'll keep you updated on it. :)

That is interesting that you notice a heat related correlation with your breathing - keep an eye on that and see if that continues. See you tomorrow - Middleton Park.

I ran six miles today. One of my friends came with me for the first two miles. It was nice to have some company. The extra quarter came from the 4 striders i did. Hopefully that's all i had to do. If not oh well :)

Maybe try a water bottle with you and when the breathing starts to act up take a drink - just an idea.

The run with the girls was fun. My ashtma really got to me today though. But luckily coach roberts stayed with me and helped me push through it. And i can't run at all this week. So this is a problem..

8 miler this morning. We were suppose to go seven but no one marked the spot so we ended up going further then we were suppose to. Oh well it was still fun running with taylor boyer and having a nice view of the mountains.

3 miler in the afternoon with the team. Our team is probably the best team out there. So much unity it's crazy..

Morning run: 4- Today was a wonderful day! The girls was a little spread out at the beginning of the run but at the end we all stuck together and pushed each other. Our girls are improving so well.

Afternoon run: 3- Oh my gosh. It is sooo hot! But our girls team except for a couple level ones that came stuck together amazingly. We all pushed each other very well. And Kaylee wasn't in front the whole time! Amazing i know!

Grass workout today. It was alright. We had a way good group today. These girls are doing so amazing and i'm so proud of all of them for everything they are doing and how hard they are working. They are gonna see a lot of results from all they're dedication and commitment.

Morning: 4-Did one set of the workout and couldn't breath through half of it so i had to turn around. My breathing feels like it gets worse and worse. All i can do is push through it. Everyone is improving soo well. I'm so proud of all the girls and how well they did on the workout today. Taylor Boyer is looking amazing and doing soo well along with Hannah. Those to girls are inspirational.

 Afternoon: 3- For some reason my asthma didn't kick in during my afternoon run.. Lifting was way good today i find myself less sore the more i come to lifting. Wish more people would start showing up. It was just Hannah and i today for level 2.

Well today was an awesome day!  Our girls team ran the first 3.5 miles together and most of them stuck with us on the way back. Today was a day to remember. The girls team looked like the boys team. Amazing :)

Morning: 4- Had a nice morning running with the girls. Ran with Freda most of the way. She is way good! Came back and did a mile of striders with megan. It was a very good morning.

Afternoon: 3- Ran with Hannah and Kaylee. Hannah kind of got behind at the end but she stuck pretty close. Weights was lots of fun today. I'm getting super nervous for the race tomorrow but i think that i am prepared and have worked really hard so i should do well.

3 am we had a nice run this morning and susan! oh my gosh susan ran with us for the first part of it this morning and i gave her a huge cause i was so happy :) she is really going to see a big step in her racing just from staying with us for that little bit.

3 this morning. Ran with the Boyer girls most of the way. I dont know what it was with the girls today but we did not run together at all today and it's very sad. Kaylee and I are trying to work on changing that but it's a bit harder then we thought it was going to be.

It was a way good workout i felt really good when i was finished. My knees hurt a little bit but it's not the usual pain that i have it felt more like it was the knee cap. But i ran with Alex's dad this morning. It was way nice and he kicked my butt. We worked on form and breathing it was all around good. 

Never got around to my afternoon workout. As i see it at least i did the big one..

Got to run three today. Gotta get ready for the race today. Not a lot of level two girls showed up today. It was mainly just the varsity girls minus nicole. And two other level two jv girls. While the varsity girls went out on there five miles i stuck with the jv girls. my knees didn't hurt at all today so i'm thinking it may have just been how i was striking my foot. But still a good workout.  

The race went very well! I felt good and strong the whole time. Kept up with rachel for most of the race. Kept a positive attitude and i think that helped me out a lot.

3 easy three this morning because i had the race yesterday. It felt nice. I'm glad i didn't have to do the varsity workout today. 

3 I actually wasn't sure what workout i was suppose to do so i just did what he said. cause i don't know if i was included in the varsity 2 that day. but it still felt nice to just run.

Only ran three today. Couldn't run at morning practice because someone took my shoes and didn't tell me. And then at afternoon practice my ankle was hurting way bad so i turned back with megan and iced it for 20 minutes. It's feeling better now.

Today was good we all ran together this morning. It was nice to finally have a run where we could run together. 

Had the race. Didn't turn out the way i wanted it to but i still felt good about what i accomplished in it. And to me that's all that matters.

This morning we did Michigan's. Pretty brutal had a good start but couldn't stick it mentally. At least i know what to do now when we run them.

Afternoon practice. all i have to say is when you're stuck deciding varsity. You'd think they'd go with the one with the most commitment and not the one who has the natural talent. I may understand but that doesn't mean i'm gonna be the least bit happy about it. Sometimes i think all our team is about it winning.

i unnderstand your frustation, so go ahead and vent. But just remember, it will all pan out in the end. You have some things you can work on to improve your own running and when you get those worked out then you'll be beyond where you even thought you could be.

You are doing anything wrong - we've talked about strengthening then the 2nd part of races and workouts. That is absolutely the key to your next level of improvement.

Ran four this morning. It is getting kind of cold outside and i'm not sure if i like it or not. I'm not one for the cold. But it was a nice run altogether though.

I actually have no idea what the mileage was today. i didn't do well on the workout at all. Trying to work past mental defeat right now. And so far i'm sucking at it but i'm getting it back slowly. Gotta get ready for my three miler later tonight cause i'm not really in the mood to do it right now. 

That three mile run by myself is exactly what i needed. It gave me my mental capacity back. As i see it i'm still as mentally strong as i was before because if i wasn't i wouldn't of been able to run and feel the way i felt about it today. I'm ready to roll and improve. I believe in myself and what i am capable of doing again.

Had a good run with the girls this morning. Rachel and i freaked each other out and that was pretty funny to watch :) I love our girls team!

It was another wonderful day :) I'm so grateful for the people in my life and the coaches i get to work with everyday. :) They are all amazing and i wouldn't ask for anyone better! Gonna miss everyone that is going up tomorrow and good luck! :)
