Man have I missed running. Today was a pretty good run for just getting out there. I'm so excited to start the training for my half marathon. I have a lot of work to do. I can feel myself slouching as I get tired and after I get done running I can tell that I wasn't loose and I let my shoulders tighten up a lot, but other than that my form was still pretty good. I can finally tell what coach Holt raged on me with on my senior year on how I had a good strong start and ending, but my middle lacked that performance that I should be at. That is something that I plan to work on too. My breathing was kind of weird, but it will get better one it gets use to being out in the bitter cold.

Today I ran, obviously, but only 1 mile was done outside. The other two miles were done inside on the treadmill. Although running on a treadmill is a easier than running outside, it helped me to maintain a consistent speed. There is still something wrong with my left shoulder. I'm not sure if it is because of my form or if something is tight in that area. Hmm. I'll figure it out.

Don't be freaked out. This wasn't all running. I did a mile and a half of walking at the gym today and after I ran 3 miles with my dearest Abby. It's sure is going to take some getting use to the cold air. At the beginning I could feel my breathing freaking out a little, but later on in the run it calmed itself down. I think my shoulder is getting a little bit better. It didn't start hurting until the run was over, so I see some improvement there.

It was a really good day of running today. Although I ran two miles on the treadmill in the gym, I wish I would of ran all three outside. I thought it was too cold outside so I didn't want to run, but Chandis talked me into running home from the gym which is a mile. It was so great! I loved every minute of it. I love running in the snow. I felt great the whole time and I felt relaxed and I didn't feel tight at all. Today was a day that I remembered by I love running so much!
